With all of their workloads running in AWS, they wanted an air-gapped backup solution that would provide security and scalability. They found everything they needed in Clumio.

Cava is a fast casual Mediterranean restaurant.

We’re running mostly all of our workloads in AWS and so AWS, we use it as infrastructure as a service, as a platform as a service and software as a service, all types of cloud solutions come there. So with our solutions, we definitely need a good backup solution.

Why Clumio
I was looking for a cost-effective, secure, scalable and air gapped backup solution. Turns out that met my requirements, so we deployed Clumio across all our AWS accounts.

Visibility
Now we’re backing up hundreds of terabytes of data, and this is restaurant data reporting, and other vital data for the company that requires, you know, to do their reports, how the sales are going, et cetera, et cetera.

Simplicity and performance
Backups do not typically affect our customers, and that’s how it should be when you think about it. As long as everything is backed up and quiet and they are not being affected. For example, Clumio does not consume any resources, it does not affect our infrastructure.

Scalability
Yet, it is scalable for us and it will grow as much as we need it to, as much as our data grows will serve. That works.
