Get Backup and Running with Clumio at AWS re:Invent 2021

To kick off the final month of 2021, some 20,000 cloud professionals will descend on Las Vegas for the industry event of the year, AWS re:Invent, a four-day showcase of keynote speakers, networking, learning, and training.
I couldn’t be more excited to finally do normal(ish) things. We’ve weathered a lot these past months but we’re ready to Get Backup and Running! To commemorate not only that we’re getting together once again but some big milestones in ensuring your data protection success you’ll hear us talk a lot about getting backup and running, our key theme going through next year.
Clumio is all-in on AWS and we will have a big presence at re:Invent. As you descend into Vegas keep your eyes peeled for the new Clumio billboards appearing around the airport during the show. Don’t miss our stellar breakout session on Monday afternoon, November 29th where we’ll highlight the 6 Innovations that re:Invent S3 Data Protection (hint: it’s not versioning and replication). At our booth (#1641 in the Venetian, next to the AWS booth), the get backup and running theme will continue as we’ll be handing out Nitro Cold Brew Coffee to keep you fueled and a chance to win a Theragun massager every hour! Swing by for a one-on-one conversation with our data protection experts, ready to help guide your cloud ransomware strategy. That’s only the beginning—don’t miss the exclusive dinner at Nobu and VIP cigar bar experience, reach out to your local Clumio representative for your invite.
Don’t miss our breakout session
Learn how customers like Defiance Digital are using Clumio to innovate their S3 data protection during this one-hour session, moderated by Chadd Kenney, our VP of Product. We’ll discuss how to go beyond replication and versioning to ensure your data will be there in case of a disaster.

More exciting re:Invent events
Don’t miss the Adam Selipskyn and Werner Vogels keynotes. AWS CEO Selipsky talks on Tuesday, November 30 about the latest AWS products and services. On Thursday, December 2, the colorful Vogels, CTO of Amazon.com, will discuss technical infrastructure and how Amazon is focusing on architectural design.
We’re looking forward to these other re:Invent sessions throughout the week, including:
COP302 – Best practices for centralized operations management on AWS
In this session, learn how to build, manage, and operate your mission-critical applications in a secure, automated, reliable, and cost-effective way.
COP212-S – How Capital One continues to change banking for good at scale
It’s one thing to move to the cloud, but it’s another to operate there at scale. In this session, Capital One shares some important lessons they learned on this journey and discusses how they are developing some of their flagship applications and operating them at scale.
STG304 – Building a data lake on Amazon S3
Flexibility is key when building and scaling a data lake, and by choosing the right storage architecture, you will have the agility to quickly experiment and migrate to AWS. This session explores best practices for building a data lake on Amazon S3.
STG328-R1 – Accelerate migrations with AWS DataSync, Snow Family & AWS Storage Gateway
Accelerate your cloud journey and move away from cumbersome data centers. In this chalk talk, learn best practices for how to configure AWS Cloud migration services to not only migrate data faster but also cut costs and increase performance.
As always, we’re excited to discuss everything and anything Clumio during another year of re:Invent. Looking forward to getting backup and running with you in Vegas!
