Preparing for Uncertainty: Clumio’s COVID-19 Readiness Plan

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold, Clumio remains focused on keeping our employees healthy and safe as well as ensuring that our customers are fully supported. We are closely following WHO, CDC and local government guidelines as we continuously assess our policies and support efforts. Our thoughts go out to everyone impacted by the virus, especially to those who have lost a loved one, those who are sick and the many thousands in healthcare working to deliver the best possible care.

We have required all employees to work from home and mandated that employees avoid business travel. We will continue to monitor the situation and impact to our employees and will make adjustments as needed.

We are committed to delivering the Clumio service, built on AWS, without interruption to ensure that our customers have all of the capabilities available to them to continue their operations. Clumio has also confirmed that our business-critical partners have contingency plans in place to ensure business continuity.

Clumio’s business continuity plan covers the ability for all business functions, including customer support, to work remotely in a safe and secure manner so that they can continue to serve our customers. All remote access uses secure connections, requires multi-factor authentication, and complies with applicable regulations and corporate standards. Our teams are accustomed to leveraging collaborative technologies inside and outside the office and the transition to working from home has been smooth as a result.

As we continue to navigate the changing situation, we are confident in our business continuity plan and our ability to provide customers with the support they need to maintain their own business continuity. Clumio’s cloud-native architecture allows for upgrades, fixes, and new features to be delivered seamlessly over-the-air, with no service downtime or infrastructure planning required of the customer.
